How the American family still hangs on in its daily struggle for existance

Families are important. But, too often our families are taking back seats to the rest of our lives. The American family is under attack. There are those in Government that would have us believe that it takes a village or the Government to raise our children. Truth be known, it takes neither. It takes two loving parents, one father and one mother, a lot of prayers, a lot of hard work, and a lot of faith. The government can't even balance its annual budget and it wants to raise our children too! It is the responsibility of each and every person to do what they can to raise their children in accordance with traditional values and principles. That is what I plan to do when I start raising children of my own.
