Our Wedding Day

DO NOT Marry a person that you know you can live with; Only Marry someone that you cannot live without!

"Now go as those who God has made one. You today are part of one another. May you have the courage to love each other not only as you are now, but as you are yet to be...with a love that is ever new." Thanks Aunt Bonnie!

Poem read at our wedding:

I cannot promise you that...I will not change
I cannot promise you that...I will not have different moods
I cannot promise you that...I will not hurt your feelings sometimes
I cannot promise you that...I will not be erratic
I cannot promise you that...I will always be strong
I cannot promise you that...my faults will not show
But~
I do promise you that...I will always be supportive of you...
I do promise you that...I will share all my thoughts and feelings with you
I do promise you that...I will give you freedom to be yourself
I do promise you that...I will try to understand everything that you do
I do promise you that...I will be completely honest with you
I do promise you that...I will laugh and cry with you
I do promise you that...I will help you achieve all your goals
But~
Most of all...I do promise you that...
I love you

May our hands be forever clasped in friendship and our hearts forever joined in Love!

Welcome to our life!!

Our wedding was at home on Feb.24, 1995 at 8:00p.m. I was just starting down the isle *giggle* our hall way! And The fire whistle went off at 8:00 like it does every night to start our wedding..Since Paul is a fireman this worked out well!
Guess I should back up a bit, we met at work, he was my boss *grin*(NO I did not get any favors!) We fell in love and moved in together! But the company tossed us a hard ball and gave him the choice of his job or me..well you all know the out come of that! *smile* We lived together for one year before they found out and fired him. We were married two days later! Lots of time to plan, huh?? We had a very beautiful wedding at home like I said at 8:00. My sister was the maid of honor and his sister was the best man!!LOL..Becky played the music, Jenny took the pictures, Josh walked me into the room, and they all gave me away! Shannon (Paul's daughter) passed out the bird seed bags that they pelted us with outside! Aunt Bonnie (Paul's Aunt) preformed the wedding and Uncle Mel taped it for us! After the wedding, we had cake and took off for our honeymoon in Indiana! We went to the Indy Race Track (see how much I love him??*wink*)

It has been five years, and seems as though it was only yesterday! We look forward to growing old together happily! We are still best friends and I plan to keep it that way!!

This was taken not so long ago at my sister's wedding! Still happy after all this time :)
