Flint Hills Girl Scout Council is sponsoring its first-ever JAMBOREE!! To be held July 29 through August 2, 1998, it promises to be an exciting opportunity for camping, water sports, area tours of heartland attractions, and... a chance to celebrate the sisterhood of Girl Scouting.
All '97-'98 Junior, Cadette, and Senior Girl Scouts are invited. Watch for detailed information and registrations forms in 1998. An invitation is extended to every Girl Scout. Plan to come - spread the word!!
Camp with Girl Scouts from throughout Kansas and the United States, as well as Girl Guides from other countries.
Cost is $15 per person, which will cover all activities and tours, a patch, lake rental fees, insurance, and a chuck wagon supper. Troops will camp in units and will bring their own equipment and food for other meals. They may attend part of the time, or come for a whole 5 days of fun and friends!!
Don't miss the large festive gathering in an area of rolling land with natural movement of air!!!
