With a growing interest in family and community history, I believe that there is a need to offer some of our parish's history on the Internet.   Hopefully it will help someone who is looking for lost ancestors, or just interested in the history of Rushville and northwest Nebraska.

Recently, we had some visitors from The Netherlands who were here visiting some relatives in the area.  They told me that one of their ancestors helped build the original parish church here in Rushville, and were looking for some pictures of the old church.  Fortunately, I knew where some were located.   They suggested that we have postcards made of them, but I jumped ahead, and decided to give the parish a home on the Internet!
