My Lost Friends

Below is a list of five friends I am searching for. The first three and I were 'tight' in the '60s and '70s. I joined the Marine Corps in 1976 and totally lost track of them in 1983. I have since retired from active duty and would really like to see them.

The last two are from my early years in the Marine Corps - 1976 - 1980.

I have listed their names with as much information as I can remember about each of them hoping someone can help me find them.

Michael Malave (Mike).

dot Last known address 4817 North 9th Street, Philadelphia, PA.
dot Had three brothers named Robert, John and Carlos plus a sister named Lilly.
dot Father's name was Antonio but I believe he moved to New York in 1974-75.
dot Lived with a girl named Carmen on Howard Street and they had a little boy also named Michael but called Mickey.
dot Played Center field and Pitcher for the Zodiac Stars in the Hunting Park league (1974-75?).

Miguel Angel Parrilla or maybe Parrilla-Vasquez (Big Mike). UPDATE! FOUND! 05 Feb 02
Mike's son found this web page by accident and told Mike I was looking for him. Mike emailed me and I called him. We are planning a reunion real soon.

dot Last address: Unknown except that he lived in North Philadelphia.
dot Had one brother called Junior (See Below).
dot Married a young lady named Rosa.
dot Played First Base for the Zodiac Stars in the Hunting Park league (1974-75?).

Santiago Parrilla Jr or maybe Parrilla-Vasquez Jr (Junior). UPDATE! FOUND! 05 Feb 02
Junior was found at the same time his brother Mike was.

dot Lived with a girl named Elba or Alba and they had a little boy named Nazareth.
dot Played Second Base for the Zodiac Stars in the Hunting Park league. (1974-75?)

Michael Shallow (Mike). UPDATE! FOUND
Mike was located through The Marine Guest Book web site.

dot Discharged from USMC in 1979.
dot Home state was Illinois.

Robert D. Bocook (Bo).

dot Discharged from USMC in 1980.
dot Home state was Ohio.
dot Had an older brother who also served in the USMC.
