Part 1 - Part 2

August, 1994. Our most successful family portrait ever. How often do you get everyone feeling that they came out looking good? At this point, we all look so happy. Cancer was still something that happens to other people.
18 months later, Mommy wrote a poem about this one.

When Mommy was a baby, our grandparents used to call her O's because of her round eyes, face, toes, body - the total round effect.
I think this picture more than proves the point.
June 19, 1977. Mommy sure was a beautiful bride. She and Daddy each know what they were getting into, and they were happy about it. Mommy always loved daisies. I guess that's why Daddy went out and bought daisies the week after Mommy died.

Before moving to Israel, we spent three years in LA (Daddy did his Post-Doc at CalTech). Those years were a great example of Mommy's ability to mix in with the local crowd. We were only there for a short period, but with Mommy's help, we made alot of friends
Mommy once told Daddy that if she were ever to die ( this was before she was sick) we, the kids, would remember her with a phone in her hand.
Actually, while she was sick, talking on the phone became a burden, and pictures like this were a less common sight - although definitely not unseen.

August, 1994. The two lovebirds. Daddy is a bit thinner, grayer, and balder now.
