I'm now showing Scottish Deerhounds, Ch. "Dirk" and puppy "Ian". Check out my dog pages by clicking HERE.
I also collect model horses. I've found an entire hobby dedicated to collecting, remaking and showing them. I was also lucky enough to find a mentor (THANKS, Susan Rudnicki) to help me learn the sometimes not-so-gentle art of remaking. While only working on customizing model horses for a short time, I was pleased to have my repainted "Lady Phase" named WW Tin Angel, win 1st place in Western Performance at Cow Country Live held on November 13, 1999. Sadly, my time for model horse stuff is now limited by the time and effort going into showing the Deerhounds, so this hobby is "on hold" temporairly. For more information on the hobby, check out my model horse pages by clicking HERE.
I enjoy reading fantasy/science fiction books, especially Mercedes Lackey, Melanie Rawn, Robert Jordan and Katherine Kurtz. I collect old animal management/veterinary texts, as well as books by Walter Farely (Black Stallion) and Albert Payson Terhune (Lad: A Dog).
Naturally, my whole life pretty much revolves around the other couple million species I keep an eye on, but that's not my whole dragon. I also like to like to impose my steadfast will on others, commune with Nature, and lobby governments for alternative fuels and conservation. My favorable attributes are gemstones, mountains, caves, soil, respect, endurance, responsibility, prosperity, and purpose in life. Folks shouldn't get the idea I'm a hippy push-over though, because my breath weapon is a nasty Fire/Acid combination. Maybe I should invest in a hemp shirt reading "Don't knock my smock, or I'll clean your clock." *wink*
In actuality, this is a fair personal description, draconic attributes, notwithstanding.
Not surprisingly then, I also collect dragon items. Statuettes, mostly, but not exclusively. I even have a dragon tattooed on my forearm so I could always have part of my collection with me. Well, that and it was a 40th birthday present from a friend. A dumb thing to do? Maybe, but I like it, and given the dragon's traditional "protector" connotation, maybe it was fate.

Last, but NOT least the household is rounded out by my part Siamese cat, Miri. Oh, alright, so you'd like to see another picture of me??? Well, click HERE.
