James Buchanan served under Captain James Hurry of the Virginia Militia, May the 7th or
9th to August 13 or 28 1814 was allowed a pension on his application April 26 1871 at the
age of 76. That James Buchanan married Lucretia Taylor Nov 18 1819 at Morgantown Virginia,
now West Virginia. That James Buchanan died Oct 18 1880 age about 85 years. Lucretia
Taylor Buchanan died July 23, 1885 age 85 years. Burial at Senecaville Oh. To this union
were born Adaliza who died single, Feb 1872 age 35, Edna Jane who died at Senecaville,
Guernsey Co, OH Sept 8, 1874, age 42 9mo and 10 days. 
That Edna Jane Buchanan married Isarel Livingston
Neyman, March 25, 1855 (I. L. Neyman died Sept 2, 1903 age 83 at Senecaville OH. To this
union were born Mary Rose, Sue Lucretia, and Frank, Sybilla, and Mattie. Sue Lucretia was
born 11/30/1858 died July 4, 1887 east of Caldwell OH. That Sue Lucretia Neyman married Levi Dick Merry April 22, 1882, Died August 28, 1921. Burial in Olive Cemetery, Caldwell OH. To this union were born Charles Calton March 18, 1883, Edward Livingston, February 27, 1885, and Levi Delbert, May 24, 1887.
