The purpose of this page is to help people from all over the world become more familiar with us (The Chatbungalow team) and the IRC (IRC = Internet Relay Chat). Communicating with people from all over the world, on any topic you can think of (as long as its G rated) is a lot of fun but be warned - it is very ADDICTIVE!! Chatbungalow is a channel that you can visit anytime night or day and meet great people, have a virtual coffee, chat and generally relax and enjoy yourself.

Chatbungalow was created sometime in Nov. '95 by a lovely couple from Auckland, New Zealand, Catz and Mufasa. They set up Chatbungalow to be a "nice, friendly, clean-cut" chat channel which was not specific to a region or country, age or topic. We, as the remaining members of the Chatbungalow team, promise to uphold the traditions which they have set forth.
