MikeMIKE

Mike demonstrating that the Navy has the coolest uniforms

Mike is a Captain in the U.S. Navy and a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. He is a Surface Warfare Officer with a subspeciality in Strategic Planning, and a lover of literature, bluegrass and gospel music, bears, and racquetball. Mike is currently Commodore of Mine Countermeasures Squadron Three (MCMRON3) which entails managing a squadron of ships and frequent trips overseas. He came to the love of cats after marrying a lady who came supplied with them. His cattery duties include spoiling the cats rotten and not screaming too loudly when they rip the curtains down. His duties do not include anything to do with litter boxes or hairballs.

TRISH

Trish is a graduate of the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. Her hobbies include painting and needlework, and she loves to read almost anything. The cats are a constant joy, especially with Mike away so much and son David at college. She could do without litter boxes and hairballs, but figures they're a tiny price to pay for the delight the cats bring. After moving to South Texas, Trish was infected with a serious case of the Texas Flu, the symptoms of which are learning to dance the two-step, when to say "y'all" (hint: only when talking to two or more people), listening to old country music, becoming a fan of bull-riding, and buying a huge pickup truck named BeRT (Big Red Truck - the "e" was added later), a hat, and boots. Pictures coming soon.

Dave and TrishDAVE

Dave was recently graduated from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, California, where he received a BS degree in computer science and music, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He is a classical pianist and a self-proclaimed computer geek. He is working for a computer company in San Diego, California, and is continuing his piano studies. He loves cats of all kinds and sizes, and is especially fond of snow leopards and black Maine Coons. Before he left for college, he was the designated litter box scooper, but now when he comes home to visit his only duty is to love the kitties (which he performs admirably!).

There are snakes here, and alligators.

These are some of the guys that are willing to put their lives on the line so that we can all live free and safe. (Nice hats, huh?)

WARNING!

If you have a phobia about snakes, don't scroll down any more - there's a picture of one of the snakes that hangs about our house.
