The jurors for our Lord the King upon their oath present that James
Haycroft late of the parish of Saint Margaret Westminster in this county
of Middlesex labourer, Samuel Smythiman late of the same place labourer,

Henley otherwise Haycroft late of the same place spinster and
Elizabeth
Eaton late of the same place spinster, on the sixth day of April in
the seventeenth year of the reign of our sovereign Lord George the Second
now King of Great Britain, with force and arms at the parish aforesaid
in the county aforesaid, four razors with the value of two shillings, two
pair of iron shoe buckles of the value of six pence, three pair of iron
shoe buckles japanned of the value of nine pence, two pair of copper shoe
buckles of the value of eight pence, two pair of copper knee buckles of
the value of twenty pence, three white metal stock buckles of the value
of six pence, three iron stock buckles japanned of the value of six pence,
one pair of iron knee buckles japanned of the value of two pence and iron
breeches buckle of the value of two pence, two steel cork screws of the
value of four pence, three iron snuff boxes japanned of the value of eighteen
pence, one horn tobacco box of the value of three pence, twelve clasp penknives
of the value of three shillings, five pair of steel scythes of the value
of seven pence, two white metal teaspoons of the value of two pence, one
pair of steel tweezers of the value of two pence, four steel stay hooks
of the value of three pence, one metal girdle buckle japanned of the value
of two pence, one white metal sword belt buckle of the value of six pence,
one steel pick tooth case of the value of two pence, one steel pencil case
of the value of four pence, one pair of steel plyers of the value of six
pence, two bath metal seals of the value of four pence, two pair of womens
necklaces of the value of two shillings, two pair of womens earrings of
the value of sixteen pence, twelve pair of ivory studs of the value of
six pence, ninety six pair of bath metal buttons with glass fixed therein
of the value of two shillings, one dozen of small rings made of mixed metal
of the value of one penny, one picture case made of wood of the value of
two pence, three ivory handle knives and three ivory handle forks of the
value of four shillings, eight buck handle knives and two buck handle forks
of the value of two shillings, and nine box handle knives of the value
of nine pence, the goods and chattles of William Griffith then and there
being found then and there did steal take and carry away against the peace
of our said Lord the King his crown and dignity. |
