My husband's name is John,
and we've been married for almost nine years. He works at a
lumber mill doing something called chasing. It's kind of dangerous and very tiring. Once he was working on a saw. He was just learning the job when Ellen was a newborn, so he was very exhausted. Well, he lost his left index finger doing that job, so he doesn't do that one any more.
He's a sweetie. He has been a nurturing dad from the beginning. Since I had to stay in bed for a day after Ellen's birth, the nurse taught John how to swaddle Ellen and how to change her diaper, and he cared for her a lot the first night after she was born. He has always loved holding Ellen and does it every chance he gets. They have a lot of fun together, and she also really enjoys relaxing with him. He calls her his buddy. He cheerfuly changes most of the diapers when he is home.
Not only is John a loving, attached daddy, he does all the grocery shopping, takes out the garbage, and changes the litter box! He's gentle, thoughtful, buys me flowers... he is a wonderful husband.
He's also very interested in theology--the doctrines of grace,
in particular. He has a great homepage
with many reformed resources.
His homepage also has links to Christian Real Audio stations and
much more.
