Thank you for stopping in. My name is Sherry and I live in
I enjoy living on the Oregon coast and hope
the link to my home town.
One of our landmarks to see in Tillamook is
largest man made wooden structure in the world.
The WW2 Blimp Hanger.
It is large enough to hold six football fields
and at one time housed a logging company
including the log deck.
They now have a very large collection of WW2 planes in
their museum, restored and flown whenever the weather
permits we still see an occassional blimp around.
We are about 10 miles from the coast, and well known
for our wet weather (130" in 1996 WOW), and of course
our World Famous Tillamook Cheese Factory.
If you would like to know more about our town
we have a nice paper the Headlight Herold.
It comes out once a week and has only
Call that simple but its kind
And of course the Tillamook County Fair is know
(at least locally) for our famous Pig-And-Ford Races.
You would have to see it to believe it, but you can
read all about it HERE.
We have had our Adult Foster Home for seven years now.
We love it and have the sweetest
ladies in Oregon living here with us.
We call them the Golden Girls and they certainly are.
The memories and stories that can be told by our seniors are priceless.
I am MEEMA to two beautiful
granddaughters who now live
next door to us, and we just love having them so close.
It really makes this meema & peepa happy to see them everyday.
You will see more about them later.
I have been busy visiting all the homepages
that I can, and I must say there are some fantastic
places to visit in Geocities.
to visit yours also.
So please sign the guestbook and leave your address.
While you are here you may want to take a look at
wonderful kids (the love of our lives).
is eleven years old and and is very
computers, she has been able to
find her way around
my computer from the age of three.
She has been asking
for her own homepage
so if you have time please take
a peek at what we have done.
She chose the text, pictures and links that she wanted to
Janessa is six years old, but from the twinkle
in her eye I am sure she will be just as active and
as her older sister. Janessa's Club House.
If you enjoy surfing you may want to visit"4/9 MANCHU"
of my family.
Both of my brothers have great homepages.
Bob, who goes as Willy
on his home page has one of
the best pages on Vietnam that I have seen.
It is divided into his two trips,
one in 1967 and one thirty years later in 1997.
It also will link you to a MANCHU page
that he created and maintains for all Manchus.
If you are a MANCHU you will certainly want to check it out.
Their site reunites Manchus, tells you about the history of the 9th Infantry, and has personal stories of battles written by some of my heroes. The 4/9 Manchus
also own and maintain the "Vietnam Memorial Wall". This is one site that should be visited at least once by every American living in this great country.
My sister Judy has a fun page about family,
funny school bus stories and her husbands first hunting dog.
My mom; what can I say. She enjoyed putting
some of her life long experiences in verse.
You can find some of these on her page.
On January 11, 2002 we lost our beloved mother.
I will be leaving her page for now in her memory.
She will be missed.
Please feel free to come back again real soon.
My home is always open.
