Baked Hash Brown Casserole
2 lbs. frozen hash browns | 8 ozs. sour cream |
2 ½ cups crushed cornflakes | 2 cups grated cheddar cheese |
½ cup melted butter | ½ cup milk |
1 tsp. salt | 1 can cream of chicken soup |
¼ tsp. pepper | ½ cup chopped onion |
1. Heat oven to 350º. |
2. Butter a 9" x 13" baking dish. |
3. Spread out the frozen hashbrowns in the dish. |
4. Mix the cornflakes with half of the butter and set aside. |
5. Mix remaining butter, salt, pepper, sour cream, cheese, milk, soup & onion. |
6. Pour over hashbrowns. |
7. Top with remaining cornflake mixture. |
8. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes. |
