Baked Hash Brown Casserole

2 lbs. frozen hash browns 8 ozs. sour cream
2 ½ cups crushed cornflakes 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
½ cup melted butter ½ cup milk
1 tsp. salt 1 can cream of chicken soup
¼ tsp. pepper ½ cup chopped onion


1. Heat oven to 350º.
2. Butter a 9" x 13" baking dish.
3. Spread out the frozen hashbrowns in the dish.
4. Mix the cornflakes with half of the butter and set aside.
5. Mix remaining butter, salt, pepper, sour cream, cheese, milk, soup & onion.
6. Pour over hashbrowns.
7. Top with remaining cornflake mixture.
8. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes.
