Here's the happy ending story of Apollo:
Back in January of 2001, we happened to be driving by TLC and thought we'd
stop in. We had been mulling over the idea of getting a puppy and just
wanted to take a look. Well, we happened to find a most adorable puppy that
was at TLC with his mom and three litter-mates. There were several other
people interested in the litter-mates and mom was in the process of getting
adopted as we arrived.
We were lucky enough to get the puppy we've named Apollo. Since we had a dog named Athena and knowing a bit about mythology, we decided to name him Apollo, the blonde, younger brother to Athena. We thought it fitting. Apollo has been through a series of obedience classes, "graduating" at the top of his class (for which he received a frisbee and large Milkbone). Although our older dog Athena had to make some adjustments with the arrival of the new puppy. The attached pictures show the true story.
I've attached the picture of Apollo and his sister when they were at TLC. Apollo is the one on the right. I've then attached a few pictures of Apollo enjoying the water sprinkler, tugging on Athena, relaxing with Athena and then, of course, looking innocent and sweet.
