Here's the happy ending story of Callie (formerly Pudgie):

On September 28th, I came to TLC, with cat carrier in tow, hoping to adopt a cat. I recently had to have 1 of my cats, Bum, put down. I had Bum for a wonderful 20 years. It was becoming very apparent that my other cat, Blossom, - an 18-pound Maine coon - needed another companion.

Earlier that week I had checked out the website, as I frequently do. I saw "Pudgie" on your "Weekly Cat List" and it was love-at-first-sight. When I got to the shelter, I found her right away. I had a short visit with her, and I was HOOKED!!

When I got home, Blossom was not a happy kitty, but things soon changed.

"Pudgie" just didn't seem to fit this beautiful little cat. I have named her Callie. She definitely prefers this name and comes when called.

Callie and Blossom now play, "box", and run around like lunatics. This is something that Blossom never had with "crabby old Bum".

Thank you TLC for the wonderful service you provide for the community's people and all the animals you care for.

Enclosed is a copy of the adoption announcement I sent out to family and friends.
