Here's the Happy Ending story of Dierks (formerly Tank):

I adopted "Tank" who is now known as Dierks in April 2008. I went to the shelter with my boyfriend to just "look" and of course ended up with Dierks in my car on my way home and very excited. He was one of the few puppies not crying or barking in his cage. He was sitting patiently in his cage just watching everyone walk by….the first time around I have to admit neither of us even noticed him. Then as we went back he stuck his paw out of the cage and attempted to play with us. We both fell in love with him that day.

I now don't know what I did with my time or affection before I had him. He has been such a wonderful addition to my life. I can't wait to get home after work and see him wagging - he gets so excited it is not just his tail but his entire back end of his body. He is an amazing dog and perfect companion. He excelled in his puppy classes and has settled right into my home - which includes my bed at night.

Thank you so much TLC for bringing him into my life. I have attached a picture so you all can see how great he is doing!
Update 12/26/08:
I want to thank you again for bringing Dierks (formally Tank) into my life. In honor of his first birthday (self declared December 1) please accept this donation.

T.L.C. does such wonderful work, I hope this helps (at least a little bit). Dierks and I can never thank you enough for all of your hard work and dedication. You do an amazing job of helping those animals in need find the right people that are looking for a companion. Together it is a perfect match and brings much happiness to many homes.

I have included a photo of Dierks (black and white) and his friend Louis, my roommate's dog. They are great friends and are like brothers.
