Here's the Happy Ending story of Dottie:
When my dog passed away in early June, I decided we needed another one to help keep my mother company. She is 97. I happened to see Dottie’s picture on your web site on June 9, 2008. We drove out to your location from our home near Calumet City on the next day. I was surprised, Dottie wasn’t there. The manager that afternoon said she was not there yet. We waited around and eventually she arrived. She looked a little ragged but she saw me and I saw her and we bonded immediately. A dog for my mom became my dog. From the first moment we met she has not left my side unless I had to go out for some reason. She is the most polite, friendly and obedient dog we have ever had. She has become the heart of our home and has never caused a bit of trouble. Thanks for the opportunity to get a wonderful companion.
