Here's the happy ending story of Max:

We adopted Max on July 25th, 2003, after nine months of searching. We went to shelters all over the area. Finally, we found a Lhasa Apso named "Tippy". We planned on adopting her after she had become spayed. One week later we called and found out that she had been adopted. So we then called TLC and asked if they had any nice dogs. A man said that seven black lab puppies were coming in the next day. So we went early in the morning hoping to find a little girl because we thought that a boy would be too aggressive. So we went and the people said that there was only one and they didn't know if it was a boy or a girl and they didn't know when it was coming in. So discouraged we went to my sister's house and talked for a while, while my twelve year old daughter called the shelter frequently. Finally as we were leaving, we called one last time, we called and found out that it had been put on hold. So we went one last time to see if there were any older dogs. Right as we walked in a nice man asked if we were ready to pick him up. We were astonished, because they put him on hold for us! My daughter took one look at him and fell in love so I caved and said yes, we named him Max. He is at his true home and is loving it! He's a wonderful dog with lots of love to give. He is now 5 months old and is a wonderful dog. Even if he does have some issues, he's still the light of our lives. So TLC thank you for everything, we love him so much.

Thanks again,
