Here's the happy ending story of Molly (formerly Newly):

I must tell everyone at TLC how grateful I am for finding Molly. She has filled a huge hole in my heart after the tragic loss of my beloved cat blackjack. Never intending to get another dog. Checking at all the shelters in the area hoping by chance to find blackjack. Instead we found Molly. She had only just arrived 2 hours before we arrived at TLC. Kismet I would say. My special boy Floyd (a pointer/ hound mix always dressed in his tuxedo) also a rescue from P.A.W.S in Tinley Park who rescued me three years ago came back with us the next morning to see if Molly (Newly) would hit it off. After all we refer to him as the prince of the house. He gave his approval and we all went home. The first couple of days I wasn't sure I did the right thing; Floyd was acting a little un-decided about the whole thing. Then it finally happened. Molly won his heart. They developed a routine of eating and going out and wrestling and playing. They are right in-sync with each other. My other cat Red has been missing blackjack very much. He had taken almost six months to get used to Floyd. He was immediately curious and they get along fine. She is so sweet and kind and gentle, she is a love sponge. We all love Molly, she is one of the family now.

Thanks from Cheri, Pat, Floyd and Red
