Here's the happy ending story of Nicole:
Dear TLC,
On June 30, 2006, we came in with the intention of hopefully adopting Nicole. We had seen her picture on the website for a couple of weeks before we came in, and she just looked like an absolute sweetheart. We fell in love with her the instant we saw her in person. Even though she had been in the shelter for quite a while, she was still looking like a happy dog.
We thank you so very much for taking such good care of Nicole while she was with you at TLC. She is such a joy to have around our house. Nicole is a very playful, inquisitive, sweet dog. She loves playing with her plush toys, especially ones that look like animals. She chases her tail almost daily, and can sometimes work herself up into such a frenzy while doing so, that she will end up sprinting around the whole house! But her absolute most favorite thing to do is to take a ride in the car. All we have to do is ask, "Do you want to go for a ride?" and she is running up to the front door, ready to go.
Nicole also underwent surgery shortly after we had her to fix her teary left eye. Her eye looks absolutely wonderful now, you can't even tell that she had surgery. Below are a couple more current pictures of Nicole.
