Here's the happy ending story of Oreo:
When I was in the shelter before my owners adopted me!
Hi my name is Oreo and I live in New Lenox with my owners Marvin, Deb, and Becca. They are really great owners and I'm glad they adopted me.
On August 18, 2004 my owners came in to look at kittens. I didn't know it then but I was going to be a special Birthday surprise for Becca! When they spotted me they were so excited, and ended up taking me home. I was about 10 weeks old when I was adopted. When I arrived home I knew that this was the right place for me. I love to play a lot and so does my owner Becca, she is 12 years old and she is great. I also love to sit on people's laps and cuddle up.
The one thing that I like to do is go on car rides. I love sitting in the back seat with Becca and look out the window with her, it is so much fun. I also like to sit at the front window in our house looking at all the squirrels and birds. There is this one squirrel that likes to sit in the tree by the window sill outside, and teases me. I am going to get that squirrel one day, at least I hope so.
I have a lot of visitors who love to visit me. They are really fun visitors who hold me, play with me, and give me treats. I love it at my new house.
At night, I cuddle up with whoever I can. I mostly cuddle up with Becca because she loves me cuddling up with her. Before we both go to sleep we usually watch T.V. (my favorite TV channel is Animal Planet). It is really fun to do. I am always the one who falls asleep first.
I love my home and I can never ask for a better one. I liked talking to you but, I got to go because I hear a food dish calling my name. Thanks for reading my story.
