Here's the Happy Ending story of Sugar:
To the Staff at TLC:
"Sugar" has made an excellent transition into her new home! She has received get acquainted gifts and treats from our friends and neighbors since she arrived.
We have fun playin' and "chillin" together. Sugar likes to "fetch" but what she really loves is running wide and fast around her big back yard (perhaps Agility Training may be in her future?) Other times, she is content just sniffing around and discovering all those awesome scents only the great outdoors can provide.
"Sugar"had her Wellness Exam Monday and handled it beautifully inspite of feeling a bit nervous. The girls in the office helped her feel more comfortable (and ME,too!)
I'm discovering "Sugar" possesses many qualities: very smart, alert, gentle, friendly, obedient, playful. And, even though there were so many wonderful dogs to choose from at TLC, when "Sugar" looked up at me with those deep, dark pleading eyes, I pretty much knew that my search for that "special friend" was over!
Thank You again for the Starter Kit of goodies you gave me For Sugar. I appreciated your thoughtfulness. I want to "Pay It Forward"... Here's some items from your wish list.
