Here's the Happy Ending story of Waffles:

I adopted my kitten, now named Waffles from TLC on May 26th, 2008. She was the cutest thing I've ever seen. I had been asking for a kitten for a very long time, and I finally got one! She was adorable, and instantly became the apple of my eye. She was a mere 6 weeks old, and weighed less than half of a pound. Two days after we got her, my mom and I realized she was not eating or drinking anything. When we took her to the vet they said she was very sick, and then gave her medicine and suggested that we feed her meat flavored baby food through a syringe without the needle. And so we did, and after a few weeks she got better. She instantly became very lively, wild, loving, curious, and more adventurous once she got to better health. About two months after Waffles entered my home, my mom bought two golden retriever puppies. Today, our puppy Millie and Waffles get along wonderfully. Waffles easily endures the slobber of Millie's mouth when her entire head is engulfed in it when they are playing together. It is a funny sight, and they will probably be the best of friends later on. She is growing into a beautiful young cat, but she still has the spunk of a three year old toddler. Waffles is the center of my universe now, and she knows it. She sleeps with me almost every night and follows me around the house while I do chores. She especially likes watching me when I clean her litter box. I cannot be happier with the wonderful kitten I brought home, and I feel blessed to have been able to find an animal that is such a perfect match for me. So thank you TLC Animal Shelter, for helping animals who have the possibility of having a life with people who will love them lots and lots.

Sincerely, Kaylyn and her baby Waffles
