Those of you who participate in our annual 3 mile Walkathon know how tired you are at the end. Imagine running 26.2 miles! That's what Christine Ader will be doing on Sunday September 27th, and the thought that will carry her to the finish line is knowing that each mile means more pledge money for TLC.
For the last 12 years, The Quad Cities Marathon, a U.S.A.T.F. certified course, has been held annually in September. The event covers 5 races, 4 cities, 3 bridges, 2 states, and 1 Mighty 'Mississippi River. The 26.2 mile run starts and ends in downtown Moline, IL.
Christine ran her first marathon for TLC in 2007. She has been training for her 2nd Marathon all summer and plans to race in the Quad City Event for TLC. She will be collecting sponsors and gaining support for TLC.
Support Christine Ader as she pounds the pavement for the puppies! Every dollar you pledge will help her make it to that finish line.
