Hi,there!

to

Pinky's Page!

I am a Girl Scout leader, a mom, and part-time clown!

I live on a farm with a herd of hereford cows, 2 horses, 1 donkey, 2 dogs,
2 cats, a handful of kittens, 3 ducks, and 9 chickens.

I have a little troop of five REALLY GREAT 3rd grade Brownies!

They look kind of like this:

Anna

Becca

Kara

Heather

Berta

They have made the

Girl Scout Promise

On my honor, I will try
To serve God and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

and they are trying their best to live by

The Girl Scout Law

I will do my best to be
honest and fair
friendly and helpful,
considerate and caring,
courageous and strong, and
responsible for what I say and do,
and to
respect myself and others,
respect authority,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place, and
be a sister to every Girl Scout.

Even though I am located in Sooner Council,
this page is intended as a resource for troop leaders EVERYWHERE!
All the information contained within these pages have been collected from various sources, as well as from my own personal experiences.

I hope you find something that makes life a little bit easier on you!

Looking for a fun Thanksgiving activity to share with your troop?

My third grade Brownies love making (and eating!) cute Oreo Turkeys!

And it isn't too early to start thinking aboutHoliday SWAPS!

They make great package decorations, too!

Here are a few ceremony ideas I've collected,
including a World Trefoil Pin Ceremony.

Girl Scouts like to make little things to trade with other Girl Scouts.
They are called "SWAPS"

Something Worn Affectionately Pinned Somewhere

Take a lk at all the neat SWAPS I've received in a monthly exchange.

Do you need some SWAP ideas for all those great Girl Scout functions you'll be attending this summer?

Visit my collection of SWAPS.

If you aren't sure what SWAPS are, visit this page.

Don't forget to brush up on your SWAPS Etiquette before you head out!

Don't forget to check out the Troop Shirt instructions.
They were easy enough for my 1st grade Brownies, and lots of fun for the older girls, too!

Want to give a "special something" to a "special someone?"
How about a kiss rose bud?
Tie on a name tag and they work great at place settings for ceremonies or banquets.

These are my favorite places on the web.

(Promise you won't go there until you've seen all of MY pages!)

Girl Scouts and Girl Guides, find out how to earn a "Picnic Patch!"

please let me know!

and sign the guestbook before you go.

Read what some other nice folks had to say.

If you want to learn more about the Girl Scouts of the USA, visit the GSUSA web site.

I hope you've had a nice visit.
Come back soon!
