According to Mark Nelson's article, "E-Books in Higher Education: Nearing the End of the Era of Hype?" higher education is expected to be the leaders of e-book adoption over the next few years. Some experts predict that the next couple of years will be the transition in the higher education e-book market, with large growth expected in both digital textbooks and digital library collections.
