My Faith Is Sufficient
by Barbara Philbrook

My faith is sufficient to get me through no matter what appears to be,
this is what the Bible tells us and that is enough for me.

I'm not relying on the knowledge or capabilities of man,
my life is in my Father's more than competent hands.

I do not have to worry because I know God is ultimately  in control of it all,
and I've never doubted that for a moment not since on His name I chose to call.

Faith is a gift that God gives us and He makes sure we have a sufficient supply,
so that when we cannot see or feel his intervention our faith is more than adequate to get us by.

Faith is believing in things hoped for and substance of things not seen,
it is how we know that what is written in the Bible is exactly as God intends that we should glean.

Faith is the strength that helps us when we ourselves are weak,
faith is what provides the perseverance where we would be too shy and meek.

Faith makes life tolerable without it  we would be overcome with distress,
gloom would  have us falling to pieces we would be defeated by  unhappiness.

Faith is how we allow God to achieve his utmost in each of our lives,
faith is how through the temptations of evil each of us survives.

Yes my faith is sufficient and your faith can be too,
just invite God into your life and faith will be given abundantly  to you.

The Bible tells us the way  to the Father is by accepting the gift of Jesus The Son,
once you accept Him a new work in you is instantly  begun.

A work never to stop until we are called home to be with them for eternity,
through which our faith will just keep on flowing continuously.
