Welcome to my Homepage. I am known Online as Lukeeladee. I was born in a small town in New York State where it meets New Jersey
and Pennsylvania.
My paternal grandmothers family had been in
that area forever. I was reared in a less than
storybook setting, grew up, married into a
relationship about which books
are written (The
Burning Bed).
At age 27, in thirty minutes of extreme
courage,I packed and left with my two sons, sixty
dollars, and whatever we could get in the car. After a
few years in MA we all wound up in FL.
The first five years was hard work...Working two jobs
at a time for my new husband and myself. In time things
got better financially and we started to live not just
survive. But, as luck would have it, a bout with thyroid
cancer for me, a broken neck for oldest son (he is
fine) and husband quitting his job all in 90 days
served to put an end to that marriage.
My sons are now gone from here...I have remarried, my hubby
is Marty. My oldest is David and his wife
Diana are in Texas.My youngest, Paul is in Colorado
with his wife, Theresa and their children, Ryan, Sydney and Cooper.
Plans have changed, have retired and my first trip was in the USA
We covered 31 states and 16,000 miles on a Harley. I have met
so many chatters, and the trip allowed me to meet even more.
Look out, I may be at your door one day!
Meanwhile I belong to a social sorority, Beta Sigma Phi ~ Epsilon Epsilon Chapter and have a grand time with my "Sisters".
We do many fund raisers for both local and national causes.
Most importantly we have fun together and know that
we shall always have a "sister" to rely on
I love to chat and have been at it for over ten years I've
met so many chatters that I dearly love.
I am interested in so many things, like crafting
stained glass (sorta) but still made good friends there.
I dabble in the yard, enjoy cooking , am still collecting
but currently only pottery. Have been working on scrapbooks
for myself and for my children.
