Our holiday 1998

For our holidays this year, my ex-husband, Ken took me on a trip to the Maritime provinces. We drove through eastern Quebec spending a night in a nice little motel outside of Rivere de Loop. We then drove down through New Brunswick, and into Nova Scotia. Here we spent some time camping. I loved it. After about three nights here we then drove up through and took the ferry over to Prince Edward Island. We drove through Charlettetown. That is a really nice little city. The people here are really friendly. We then drove up to Canvadish. We camped in a park just outside here and visited green gables. This is a really pretty little house. I really liked it. From here we drove back and over Confederation bridge and up through New Brunswick. We spent a night in a really pretty camp ground just outside Rivere de Loop on the way back. We then spent some time camping in Ontario on the way back.

If the provinces on the east coast the one I like the most was Nova Scotia. One the places I like best was a little fishing village called Peggy's Cove. I found this village really pretty. It is set on the Atlantic ocean with the waves lapping at the shore. I think that it would be a nice little place to live. I think that the church is really quant sitting in the village looking out over the ocean. Love it.

Here are some pictures from out stay in Nova Scotia.

Here are a couple of other shots of Nova Scotia. I am not sure where exactly they were taken though. Sorry about that.

Here is a picture of the ferry between New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. The ferry ride over was really nice. I enjoyed it. I was surprised at how peaceful the ride was. That is one part of the trip I wouldn't have traded for the world. Loved it that much.

I hope you have enjoyed this page.
