Recent Events

These are pictures from an August 7, 2009 visit to Tennessee's Fall Creek Falls State Park. The pictures were made around the area of the Nature Center. We visited the Cascades and then hiked the trail beginning with the swinging bridge 1.1 miles to the overlook at Fall Creek Falls. This is a huge park and has many other attractions but the water falls are still the main attraction.

March to August, 2008: This page consists of pictures from our walks and day trips. While we are have two houses to support, we will probably not be taking a real vacation. So, we take advantage of places to walk around here and short day trips.

June 29, 2007: We purchased our new home in Tennessee. When I transferred to Georgia back in 1990, it was with the thought that we would be returning to Tennessee after I was elligible to retire in about ten years. Seventeen years later and we are finally making the move. Here is the story of our move as it progressed month by month.
