Never forget what was done here. Freedom is not free! Pray for wisdom for President Obama and safety for our troops resulting in the capture of the one responsible for this, Osama Bin Laden.

Mountain View School. I want visitors to my webpage to come away feeling like they know me. So, on this page, I will tell you a little about myself. I am married and have two grown daughters who have blessed me with grandchildren. Being a husband, father and grandfather is certainly what I enjoy most. However, on this page, I will tell you a little more about how I spend my time and my hobbies.

I am interested in history and have written about my father-in-law's WWII Army unit, F-Company, the Fraterville Mine Disaster of 1902 and my genealogy (Fritts, Massengill, Miller, & Carden). I have pages on sports, where I talk about my favorite teams in season. There are pages on the Tennessee Vols, College Basketball, Pro Football, Other Football, Pro Basketball and Hockey, Baseball and Softball and My Old Vol Page which I am keeping as a salute to the Fulmer years. One thing I have always wanted to do is to write. I have posted some of my writings and keep promising myself that I am going to write more. Of course webpage building is a hobby and I have listed my favorite links. Now, my daughter, Amanda Hargett, has written a web page, Food Allergy Moms, which I would like for you to visit.

Click here to see pictures of Fall Creek Falls. These are pictures from an August 7, 2009 visit to Tennessee's Fall Creek Falls State Park. The pictures were made around the area of the Nature Center. We visited the Cascades and then hiked the trail beginning with the swinging bridge 1.1 miles to the overlook at Fall Creek Falls. This is a huge park and has many other attractions but the water falls are still the main attraction.

Click here to see pictures from walks and day trips. March to August, 2008: This page consists of pictures from our walks and day trips. While we are have two houses to support, we will probably not be taking a real vacation. So, we take advantage of places to walk around here and short day trips.

Click here for the story of our move to Tennessee home. June 29, 2007: We purchased our new home in Tennessee. When I transferred to Georgia back in 1990, it was with the thought that we would be returning to Tennessee after I was elligible to retire in about ten years. Seventeen years later and we are finally making the move. Here is the story of our move as it progressed month by month.
