KY during the 1850 Census.
Dabner McQuin

Was the oldest son and was born in Oldham County
Kentucky. He died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Walter(Gertie)Lowman.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 5th at the Pentecostal Church
of Oakwood, OK and interment was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery near Fay, OK.
His wife and 2 daughters preceded him in death, Pearl & Margaret(Maggie).
He was united in marriage to Marybelle Pope on 1.17, 1879 at McPaul, IA.
They lived there till 1892 at which time they moved to Oklahoma and lived
there until his death. Upon arrival to Oklahoma they first lived
in Kingfisher County, OK in 1892, then they moved west to Fay, OK (Dewey
County) in 1895.

Sometime after the death of James W. she married
E.M. Ainsworth. They had 1 son Nelson Ainsworth. She divorced
Ainsworth before she died. Upon her death, Nelson Ainsworth and
Georgia Beagle Crooks went to live with their Aunt Gertrude Lowman.
Gertrude McQuin Lowman
Born 5.2.1887 in McPaul, IA She
was married to Walter William Lowman at Fay, OK on 12.25.1907. They
never had children of their won but upon the death of her sister, Margaret,
they took in and raised her two younger children, Nelson Ainsworth and
Georgia Elma Beagle Crooks. She had a very kind heart, but was so
stern. I can remember her visits to Iowa very well. She died
on 12.31.1970 of a Heart Attack. Funeral services were held in Oakwood,
OK. She was survied by Georgia Elma Beagle Crooks, Nelson Ainsworth,
a sister Flossie Wills of Watonga, OK, her brother Herman McQuin of Haley,
Idaho. In her obituary, Nelson Ainsworth was mistakenly refered to
as her son.
Nelson Ainsworth married his first
wife Betty and had at least 2 children, maybe 3.

He was divorced from Betty and married his 2nd wife
Della. This marriage, I believe may have ended in divorce as well
- not sure. He stayed on the Farm after Aunt Gertie and Uncle Walter
moved into town.

Matthew McQuin

Moved to Union, NE in 1885, settling near Union
and lived there till his death at an Omaha Hospial on 3.6.1921. He
was born in Worth County, MO on 8.29.1857. Funeral services were
held at the Baptist Church in Union, NE. Pallbearers were W.H. Porter,
W.B. Banning, H.M. Fraus, Charles Garrison, Joe and Frank Bauer.
Relatives and friends that attended were: Robert McQuin of Hartington,
Mrs. Anna McQuin and son James of Chanute, KS, R & Mrs. Elsworth of
Nebraska City, Ed Midkiff & family of Avoca, NE, also John Everett
& George Trook of Avoca, Mr. & Mrs. Homer Anderson & Mother
of Omaha. Matthew or M.G. McQuin was married to Sarah Baker(sister
of Oliver Baker who was married to Martha Bell McQuin) in 1879.
Sarah passed away at an Omaha hospital on March 24, 1902. To this
union 5 children were born: 2 daughers and 3 sons:
