Back to School

Fall 1999


It's that time of year again!
Back for another year of school!


The kids are excited for their first day of school.

We had our traditional neighborhood "Back to School Walk." Luke has made the walk many times, but this year he is actually going to school too!

Luke has the same kindergarten teacher that John and Jennifer had -- Mrs. Ojeda. She is great!!!


Jen's teacher is Mrs. Mendenhall. She is also a terrific teacher and Jen really likes her.


John is on a different campus this year with only 5th and 6th grades on that campus. He rides his bike down to the campus where Jen and Luke are and takes a shuttle bus over to his campus. The playground and some of the classrooms overlook the ocean (tough life but someone has to do it!) John has different teachers for different subjects and this is the first year that I didn't get to walk him to his classroom on the first day. That was hard for me but he did just fine!
