Summer
1999
This summer passed by so quickly! Could have had something to do with being really busy!

Luke took swimming lessons. This was the first summer that we have had any success with him getting into the water, and now we have a little fish! |  |
 | We actually got him to put his face into the water! | |
 | Keith came out for a visit. We went out to eat a couple of times and one night took him for a beach fire. |  |
 | Jennifer played in the allstar tournament. Their team played well, but they did not advance. |  |
 | Of course there were trips to the beach! |  |
 And trips to the pool. | |
 | We had Vacation Bible School at our church. Mom was in charge of crafts each day for over 150 kids. We also attended a neighboring church's VBS that was great! |
Our cousins came to visit from Texas and we all went to Disneyland. |

While our cousins were here, Pappaw and Mammaw Strom came for a visit too! We all went to the beach. |

 | John's friend Trey came to visit from Redding, Ca. John was really glad to see him!  | |
We also managed a trip to Sea World this summer! |

In addition, John went to Scout camp, Jen and John went to Horseback Camp (see seperate page), I went to Dallas for my dad's retirement celebration (see seperate page), Scott went to Cabo to do some deep sea fishing, we played some golf with friends and with Scott's dad . . .
Gosh! Where did the time go? Glad school has started -- I'm tired!
