Hawesville Vol. Fire Department provides EMS support to the Hancock County Ambulance Service. Our medical director is Dr. Joel Johnston. When the ambulance is paged to a call in the Hawesville district, then we are paged out simultaneously. We also utilize AEDs on emergency runs. Our department has 11 E.M.T.s and 9 First Repsonders.
