As soon as they put the presents on the table, I couldn't wait! I had to pull them off the table and start tearing in. No structured party for me. Gimme gimme gimme!
No offense to my family but I think my one favorite gift I received on my birthday would have to be my Teletubbies balloon Mommy and Daddy gave me at 7:30 that morning. I played with it from 7:30am to 11:30pm and still the days after my party.
Ahhhhhh, cake! When Mommy first put my Blues Clues cake on my highchair tray I almost panicked. I never seen such a big glob of food on my tray before! Mommy showed me it's safe to touch the cake, then I slowly picked away at the picture of Blue on top of the icing. I only damaged about 1/2 an inch area of the cake top. Mommy gave me some cake without icing and that was pretty good too!
Unlike my older cousins, I did NOT manage to get cake in my hair, up my nose, or on the floor--though that's what my mom had prepared for. I even wore my Got Milk onesie just for funny-sake. I won't mention which cousin got cake UP HIS/HER NOSE. I'll give you a hint though, we're related!
