Now is also a good time to go through  and scrub all your breeder cages, nests, feeders,    waterers, or anything else that was used during the breeding season. You should have all of your adult birds separated and in flight cages by now or at least your hens. If you are color-feeding you should have your red-grounds separated from other non-red ground birds and they should be placed in the lower cages. Any young birds that you may thinking about showing should be placed in individual cages to keep them from damaging their feathers.
