A lot of research and months of hard work has gone into this web site, in the hopes that tbi survivors and others won't have to be at a loss like I was for so many months. Not knowing what to look for or where to look for it can be frustrating. So, take a look and let me know what you think! SIGN the guestbook.....it DOESN'T bite! HONEST! And let me know if there's something that you think it needs, or something that you'd like to see in there! Of course, I don't work ALL overnight (although sometimes it feels like it) so it may take me a bit to get it in there. But normally, if I have an active link and can get a look at the site and do some research, it doesn't take but a few minutes. SEE? I'm half 'brain dead' and I'm at least willing to cooperate! hehe! Heh, I always knew I would make a good writer........just didn't know what to write about! NOW I DO!
I'd like to tell the world about tbi and what it does to a person. The emotions, the frustration of not knowing what's happening to you. The frustration of going to doctors that really don't know what they're doing any more than WE do? That's scarey, but I'll bet if you got more than 10 tbi'ers together, we could tell you some stories that would raise the hair on the back of your neck! YEP! These are some of the things that we face with an injury that not too many doctors talk about, let alone KNOW about! They're quick to give us drugs, and not quick to find out what really can be done!
So, kick back and read...SLOWLY! You'll be surprised what's in these files! I STILL am! Put a 'bookmark' on this and check some out a little at a time. Only YOU will be the one that benefits.....unless you tell your friends, neighbors, and any yahoo (pardon the pun) off the street........which I've been known to do already!
