was a mail carrier he lived in plad, dallas county,missouri. he carried the mail on his back and walked where ever he went. he delevered the mail to lebanon,and bennett springs..buffalo missouri one evening while carring the mail there was a blizzard and he lost his way in the snow...when they found him the next morning he was sitting next to a tree 50 yards from the house..i believe that to have been in the early 1880s i dont believe he died until 1885-1887 although he suffered from exposure....
