WILL OF PETER WARREN SANDEL

Know all men by these presences that I, P W Sandel being perfectly rational and in my right mind, do make this my last Will and Testament and that I do hereby give and bequeath all of my property both real and personal to wit: The Homestead to Mary M and Thos G Sandel my youngest daughter and son with the priveliges of my wife Louisa having a homestead thereupon there being one hundred and eighty acres in the tract. One hundred acres of land known as the Wymio (?) tract of land to be given or bequeathed to W F Sandel and Eliza Ann Vick to be equally divided between them. Also to my son Peter F Sandel my large iron axle wagon and three yoke of oxen no tongue yoke accepted. And the black mule and buggy and also the tongue yoke of oxed to my wife Laura and the oldest sorrell filly to my daughter Eliz M Sandel and the younger one to my son Thos G Sandel and there being one cow and calf set aside for Laura my wife and Peter T Sandel, Mary M Sandel and Thos G Sandel the balance of the cattle that may be found including strays: blacksmith tools or any other perishable property not mentioned in this will and testament including the Books and also I give and bequeath twenty-five dollars ( 6 __ in the first columns after the __ __ is cold) to each of three children of my J O Sandel, deceased, to be collected out of the process of the sale and also to my grand daughter Mary Wiggins Sandel daughter of my son D W Sandel deceased one dollar. And also what money there is on hand to go towards defraying his expenses of the family and the paying of the doctor and also after the proceeds of the sale and all expenses defrayed should therre be anything __ to be equally divided among heirs.

In testimony whereof I here fix my hand and seal this the 20th day of March 1866.
