This Is Me - Paddie
This is me when I was 3 days old.
This is the day I knew I had a new Mom.
Mom would go over to Grandma Mary's everyday and get a fill of what she calls Puppy Breath.
What I have to figure out is why Puppy Breath is so Special.
This is me at 3 weeks old, boy am I growing into a pretty boy.
By now my eyes are open and I can see Mom - also at this time my ears are getting long.
Man how was I to know, I would spend my life tripping on my ears.
Mom calls me Dumbo Ears!
Man what an insult. But as you can see My Ears at 8 weeks old are huge!
Mom says she Loves my Dumbo Ears and even at 1 yr they are still as long, and flap in the wind.
Guess I will just have to live with my Dumbo Ears!
Mom though I was so cute at 8 weeks old.
She use to put me in this pen thing while she cooked supper and cleaned, I loved to get into things.
But as you can see it did not take me long to learn the famous Roooo's-The Country Bumpkins taught me.
You want to know something funny? It took me a week to learn how to get out of this pen thing! Mom just though she was going to keep me here!!
This is one of Mom's favorite pictures. She went in Walmart one day to get Me and The Bumpkins, some treats and what ever it is Mom's do at Walmart. She saw that Old Roy was having a Dog of The Year Contest, she thought why not? She had to get 100 word essay and find a picture. So on her way to the Big Spring Dog Show she wrote the essay and found a picture,on her way back she dropped it off. On May 1 1998 St Paddie's Day Suprize Made 1998 Ol Roy Dog of The Year at the Levelland Walmart. This picture was taken when I was 4 months old. I got a free bag of Dog Food which I shared with the Bumpkins and a Certificate of Award. It hangs proudly in Mom's room. Mom also gave me lots of treats and Belly Rubs. Even though I am a little boy, I know this was a Day to be Proud of.
