For information about the type of treatments available at clinics in the UK and the latest results of UK clinics click here treatments and results then click on the clinic’s name. WARNING: the results in the 1998 guide have not been adjusted and so are not comparable from one clinic to another e.g. one clinic may treat more older women than another so their results will not be as good, some clinics will only treat couples they think have a good chance of success so their results will naturally be better as they filter out the more difficult cases.
For a printed guide to all IF clinics in the UK contact the HFEA (Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority) by either telephoning them or via e-mail from their web site and ask for the Patients' Guide to DI and IVF Clinics. Its free! It contains all the recent statistical data on all the clinics and lots of helpful advice for people new to the system.
The telephone number is UK 0171 377 5077. The HFEA web site is at HFEA.
