Sarah SOWDERS to Jacob S. MARSEE this deed of conveyance made and entered into this the 8 day of July 1890 between Jacob E. SOWDERS and Tilda SOWDERS and his wife Lafayet SOWDERS & Polly his wife D.R.SOWDERS and Tilda SOWDERS his wife,William SOWDERS JR.&Rachel SOWDERS his wife William RAINS and Manda his wife Calvin Hatfield Louisa HATFIELD his wife heirs of the late William SOWDERS deceased party of the first part and Jacob S.MARSEE party of the second part. Witnessth that the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby sell and convey to the party of the second part his heirs and assigns, the following described property to wit a certain tract or parcel of land being in Bell County KY on the headwaters of the Clearfork River and bounded as follows to-wit begining on a rock running thence with the conditional line between Peruda SOWDERS and John C. MARSEE to Jacob MARSEE'S line and with said line to the top of the mountain thence with same to a spanish oak Jacob MARSEE corner thence with said ridge to a spring near the foot of said ridge cornering on a sycamore thence with the conditional line to a double walnut thence to a small black walnut thence with Shimitts Branch to a spruce pine on the bank of Clear Fork thence down the Clear Fork with its mean dive to the beging to have and to hold the same together with all its appurtenances thereunto, belonging unto the party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever. and the said party of the first part herby covenants with the said party of the second part that they will warrant the title to the property hereby conveyed unto said party of the of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever.in testimony whereof,the party of first part have herewith subscribed their names the day and year aforesaid.
