Jacob W. SOUDER was born about 1765, died August 18, 1820 at age 55 years, 4 months, and 12 days. He is buried in the Israel Creek Cemetery in Walkersville (once Georgetown), Frederick County, MD.

He was married to Ann. From his will dated April 18, 1820, page 379, witnessed by Christian Rohrer, E. H. (Elikie) Rockwell, and Frederick Baker, proved September 11, 1820 by Joseph Stauffer, the following children were named.

[p.46] Daniel Reeme (1745-1822) served as private, 1781, in Capt. Abraham Scott's company, 7th battalion, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania militia. He was born in Germany; died in Linglestown, Pa.
John Souder (1726-87) served as private in Capt. Conrad Coor's company, Colonel Zeigler's 4th battalion, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania militia. He was born and died in Lancaster County, Pa.
Henry Keller (1755-1838) served as private in Capt. George Hudson's company, Pennsylvania Line. He was born in York, Pa.; died in Fairfield County, Ohio.

John SOUDERS, died between August 26, 1870 and March 15, 1871.

He was married to Eliza (This was probably the John Souder who married Elizabeth Walker on May 15, 1823, in Frederick Co., MD). From his will dated August 26, 1870, pages 138-139, witnessed by Edward Barvick, Michael Wachter, and John M. Miller, George W. Miller named as executor, the following children were named.


Benjamin SOUDER, was born about February 26, 1756, died August 5, 1818 at age 62 years, 5 months, and 7 days. He is buried in Israel Creek Cemetery in Walkersville (once Georgetown), Frederick County, MD.

He was married to Anna. Anna was born about Aug 6, 1761, died March 15, 1817 at age 56 years, 7 months, and 9 days. She is buried in Israel Creek Cemetery in Walkersville (once Georgetown), Frederick County, MD.

From Benjamin Souder's will, dated December 26, 1815, Record of Wills H. SI, pages 184-186, in Frederick County, MD, witnessed by John Walker, Philip Kaiser, and Davis Hup, he named his wife Ann and the following children.
