"I really don't know why it is that all of us
are so committed to the sea, except I think
it's because in addition to the fact that the
sea changes, and the light changes,
and ships change, it's because we all came from the sea.
And it is an interesting biological fact that
all of us have, in our veins the exact same
percentage of salt in our blood that exists
in the ocean, and therefore, we have salt in our blood,
in our sweat, in our tears. We are tied to the ocean.
And when we go back to the sea--whether it is to
sail or to watch it--we are going back
from whence we
came."
John F. Kennedy-1962

1960 - 1999

JOHN F. KENNEDY JR., 38, grew up in the public eye,
from his years as a toddler in the White House to today,
when his plane was reported missing somewhere
between the Long Island coast and Martha’s Vineyard, Mass.

For many, he has been the embodiment of the
“Kennedy mystique” — young, good-looking,
seemingly invulnerable.

A biographer, Wendy Leigh, said JFK Jr. was the one
member of his family who remained untarnished by scandal.
It was an overstatement, but it summed up the way
the world viewed him.

“It’s hard for me to talk about a legacy
or a mystique,” “It’s my family.
The fact that there have been difficulties
and hardships, or obstacles, makes us closer.”
John F. Kennedy,Jr. 1993

Born: Nov. 25, 1960

A graduate of Brown University in 1983 with
a degree in history, he went on to study health
care and adult education at University of Delhi, India,
in 1983. He attended law school at New York University,
graduated in 1989 and passed the bar in 1990.
He worked for the Manhattan district attorney’s
office for four years before he founded the
political commentary magazine George, of which
he was now editor-in-chief.
He married Carolyn Bessette in 1996.

You are listening to the Music "Angel"

~Angel~

Spend all your time waiting
for that second chance
for a break that would make it okay
there's always one reason
to feel not good enough
and it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction
Oh beautiful release
memory seeps from my veins
let me be empty
and weightless and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight...
you're in the arms of the angel
may you find some comfort there...
(Verse from "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan -
from the Movie, "City of Angels")
