He married Heidi Maureen Colvin in Whitman, Plymouth Co, MA, 6/22/1980. Heidi was born in S. Weymouth, MA 7/16/1960. She is the daughter of Richard Howard Colvin Jr and Eleanor Louise Bearce.

Robert Richard Oswald Jr and Heidi Maureen Colvin had the following children:

3 ii. Lindsey Jane Oswald was born in Waterbury, CT 8/5/1987.
