12. John⁶ Gorham (Lt. Col.) (John⁵, Ralph⁴, James³, John², John¹) was born in Marshfield, MA 2/20/1651/2. John died 12/9/1716 in Barnstable, MA, at 65 years of age.

He married Mary Otis in Barnstable, MA, 2/24/1664/5. Mary was born in Hingham, MA 3/14/1653. She was the daughter of John Otis and Mary Jacob.

John Gorham (Lt. Col.) and Mary Otis had the following children:

30 i. Mary⁷ Gorham was born on (birth date unknown).

31 ii. John Gorham was born in Nantucket, MA 1/18/1675/6.

32 iii. Temperance Gorham was born in Barnstable, MA 8/2/1678. Temperance died 12/3/1678 in Norton, MA, at less than one year of age. She married Stephen Clapp.

+ 33 iv. Stephen Gorham was born 6/23/1683.

34 v. Shubael Gorham was born 9/2/1686.

+ 35 vi. John Gorham was born 9/28/1688.

36 vii. Job Gorham was born in Barnstable, MA 8/30/1692. Job died 10/1762 in Barnstable, MA.
