2 i. Susanna² Whitman was born in Providence, RI 2/28/1657/8. Susanna died 1754 in Smithfield, RI. She married James Ballou in Providence, RI, 7/25/1683. James was born in Providence, RI 1652. He was the son of Maturin Ballou and Hannah Pike. James died 1741 in Smithfield, RI. (See James Ballou for the continuation of this line.)
