6. Josiah² Crocker (William¹) was born in Barnstable, MA 9/19/1647.

He married Melatiah Hinckley 1688. Melatiah was born 1648/9. She was the daughter of Thomas Hinckley (Gov.) and Mary Richard. Melatiah died 2/2/1714/5.

Josiah Crocker and Melatiah Hinckley had the following children:

18 i. Benjamin³ Crocker was born on (birth date unknown).

19 ii. Melatiah Crocker was born 11/20/1681. She married Timothy Crocker 10/27/1729. Timothy was born in Barnstable, MA 4/30/1681. He was the son of Joseph Crocker (Sgt.) and Temperance Bursley. Timothy died 1/31/1737 in Barnstable, MA, at 55 years of age. (See Timothy Crocker for the continuation of this line.)
