He married twice. He married Ann Whitmore in England, 1630. Ann died 9/29/1641 in Braintree, MA. He married Margaret French in Braintree, MA, 1647.

Samuel Allen and Ann Whitmore had the following children:

10 i. Abigail⁴ Allen was born before 12/7/1670, the first event for which there is a recorded date. She married John Carey Jr. in Bridgewater, MA, 12/7/1670.

11 ii. Samuel Allen (Deacon) was born in Braintree, MA 11/10/1632. Samuel died 1703 in E. Bridgewater, MA. He married twice. He married Sarah Partridge in Duxbury, MA, 1658. He married Anna Wilmouth 1659.

+ 12 iii. James Allen was born 1636/7.

13 iv. Sarah Allen was born 3/30/1639. Sarah died after 1690 in New London, CT. She married Josiah Standish (Lt.).

Samuel Allen and Margaret French had the following child:

+ 14 v. Joseph Allen was born 5/15/1650.

Samuel Allen and Ann Whitmore had the following children:

15 vi. Mary Allen was born 3/30/1664. Mary died 12/7/1709 in Boston, MA, at 45 years of age.
